I downloaded the 10 day demo version of Auto-Tune for free when i was 16. I used some beats i made on "FL Studios" and created 2 songs called "Ringtone Dance" & "Peanut Butter Jelly Time". People new that i had been doing music before so they were already following what i was doing on the internet using @MySpace and @SoundClick.

When i turned 17 i bought Auto-Tune and went back into my little home studio and created more beats for my first solo mixtape. Two of those beats were "Round N' Round" & "Body Move". I finished the songs and put them on @MySpace & @YouTube but I still didn't have any views so i e-mailed this guy who owned a radio station a few towns over from the house i was staying at. We exchanged a few e-mails and he put "Round N' Round" in rotation first, and eventually "Body Move" made the rotation as well. By that time my buzz had spread to different schools and not only students but teachers where dancing to my songs and singing my songs.

I finished my first mixtape and ended up calling it the "Prince Of Auto-Tune Mixtape". It was all my beats so i wasn't breaking copyright and so i didn't owe anybody money. It was also my own creative sound so i wasn't copying anybodies style. I uploaded the mixtape to @DatPiff and made copies to sell at my high-school my senior year. One of the schools faculty members came up to me one day and asked me how much money i had made so far kind of laughing a little bit, and i pulled a few hundred dollars out my pocket and he shook his head and walked away.

Between basketball and schoolwork i still found time to make beats, freestyle, and produce my second mixtape with features. The second mixtape was called "Unsigned Hype Mixtape". Instead of selling it by hand i took the viral approach and put the mixtape on @DatPiff. Since this mixtape came out within a month of the "Prince Of Auto-Tune Mixtape" i pretty much got the same response from my fans on the internet as my first mixtape.

After i graduated high school i attended "Dean College" in Franklin, Massachusetts for my schooling and to play basketball. I dropped out in less than a month because i wanted to pursue my music career and i wasn't feeling college at the time. I ended up couch surfing for a while and got kicked of a few houses until i found myself back at the house i grew up in. At that time i had half of my third mixtape finished called "Year 3000 Mixtape", and over the next few months i had finished the mixtape and put it on @DatPiff.

The whole time i was making music, i was preparing for my first independent album by collecting my strongest beats & my strongest songs. Songs that weren't put on my mixtapes were being put onto @YouTube and @SoundClick. I gathered up the album worthy music i had made since high school that weren't on any of my mixtapes; Show Me What You're Worth, Zank Me Yank Me Crank Me, Ballz Deep & Mary Jane, where all tracks that i had already made and saved for my album.

I freestyled the rest my album after i finished producing the instrumentals for the remaining songs. I was going to call the album "Tech-No-Rap". It was the name of a style of music i trademarked before "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" was released. I had been pushing the name via word of mouth and on the internet for years. After thinking about the name for a while i ended up referred back to my past again for the official name of my album. I brought back the word "Zank". It was a word that i made up in my studio when i was 16 for a comedy song that i posted on @SoundClick. A few weeks past and by December, 2011 my self-made independent album titled "Zankworld (Tech-No-Rap)" was uploaded to @TuneCore and was available on @iTunes.
